FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to techniques for the production of nitrogen from compressed atmospheric air and can be used in various fields, including nitrogen production systems and the supply of pure gases (nitrogen and carbon dioxide) and their mixtures for bottling beverages. Nitrogen generator contains compressor 1, air supply line 4 on which filter 8 is installed and with which membrane unit 5 connected to nitrogen supply line 10 is connected, and control unit 24. Compressor 1 is connected to air receiver 3 via valve 2. Air receiver 3 is connected to air supply line 4, on which pressure relay 7 and valve 9 are installed. Nitrogen supply line 10 is connected to nitrogen receiver 11 and second pressure relay 13 and valve 12 are installed on it. Control unit 24 is connected with the first and second pressure relays 7 and 13, as well as with compressor 1 with the possibility of turning on and off the power of compressor 1 and with valves 2, 9 and 12 with the possibility of switching them.
EFFECT: invention provides improved reliability and stability in terms of changes in the characteristics of the compressor and the generator over time.
