SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the field of drilling wells by downhole motors. Engine contains a stator of the power section, containing a continuous body having a first end, a second end and an internal cavity passing through them, and a rotor unit located in the internal cavity. Rotor assembly as components of the rotor assembly contains a rotor of the power section, containing rotor blades interacting with one or more stator blades of the power section, transmission, functionally connected to the rotor of the power section, and the bearing unit, while the rotor of the power section is located at the first end in the internal cavity of the stator of the power section. Rotor of the power section, transmission and bearing unit are fully enclosed in the internal cavity of the stator of the power section. These components of the rotor assembly are made with the possibility of pre-assembly in the form of a cassette and installation of the cassette in the internal cavity of the stator of the power section.
EFFECT: provides access to the serviced components of the downhole motor and increase the fatigue strength of the motor housing.
