FIELD: drilling.

SUBSTANCE: wear-resistant vibration unit for transmitting a pressure pulse in the drill string, comprising a positive displacement power block installed in the inner channel of the housing, including a rotor located at least partially in the stator configured for rotation in the stator when the fluid medium passes through the power block; and a valve located above the power block in the internal channel of the housing. The valve comprises a rotating part located below the non-rotating part, each of which comprises at least one flow channel, an inner sleeve located around the non-rotating part and an outer sleeve located around the inner sleeve. The outer sleeve is rotationally locked to the housing. Each of the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve comprises an interacting matching mechanism configured to provide relative axial sliding and prevent relative rotation between the outer sleeve and the inner sleeve. The rotating part of the valve is rotatable relative to the housing with the rotation of the rotor to cycle the valve between an open position and a holding position. In the open position, the flow path of the valve rotating portion is aligned with the flow path of the non-rotating valve portion, and in the restrained position, the flow path of the rotating portion of the valve is at least partially not aligned with the flow path of the non-rotating portion of the valve to restrict the flow of fluid through the valve to generate and unrestrictedly transfer a pressure pulse through the drill string above the valve.
