FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the vehicle bumper beam. More specifically, it relates to the car bumper beam. Bumper beam (1) includes the first element (2), the second element (3) and the inner plate (4). First element (2) includes the upper plate section (5), two vertical wall sections (6a, 6b) and two flange sections (7a, 7b). Two vertical wall sections (6a, 6b) are connected to the upper plate section (5) both side sections (5a, 5b), respectively. Two flange sections (7a, 7b) are connected to the two vertical wall sections (6a, 6b), respectively. Second element (3) has the plate-like shape, is connected to the first element (2) two flanged sections (7a, 7b), and, at least, closes the gap between the two flange sections (7a, 7b). Inner plate (4) is connected to the first element (2) two vertical wall sections (6a, 6b), and is located substantially in parallel to the second element (3) in the space, formed by the first element (2) and the second element (3). From the first element (2) and the second element (3), the second element (3) is located facing the outside of the vehicle.
EFFECT: creating the vehicle bumper beam, which has high energy absorption efficiency.
