FIELD: transport machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport machine building. Bumper beam comprises a closing plate and a trough-shaped element bent along the longitudinal direction and protruding towards the closing plate. Carted element includes top plate, first and second ribs, flanges, walls, section of high strength and section of low strength. First ribs are located at ends of the upper plate. Flanges are connected with closing plate. Second ribs are located on inner ends of flanges. Walls are located between appropriate ribs. Section of high strength is provided in average lengthwise direction of each wall and extends for length of at least 250 mm and has tensile strength of not less than 1.5 GPa. Section of low strength is provided in trough-shaped element, located outside high-strength section and continues by length not less than walls height. Section of low strength has tensile strength less than tensile strength of lengthwise sections of two walls.
EFFECT: prevention of break of bumper beam at impact.
