FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial production and relates to a coated article. Coated article comprises a substrate and, arranged successively on the substrate, first silver-containing and infrared (IR) radiation reflecting layer, the first NiCr-containing contact layer, first silicon nitride-containing dielectric layer, second NiCr-containing contact layer, second silver-containing and IR-reflecting layer, third NiCr-containing contact layer and second silicon nitride-containing dielectric layer. Second IR-reflecting layer is at least twice as thick as the first IR-reflecting layer. Coated article has visible light transmission, measured monolithically, of not more than 55 % and glass-side visible reflectance, measured monolithically, of not more than 11 %.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing a coated article with low transmission for visible light, low reflection coefficient, good durability, desirable (gray) colour and thermal stability during heat treatment.
