FIELD: paper production; cellulose production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mold-resistant paper, a method of manufacturing same, an antimicrobial coating composition and a gypsum panel. Antimicrobial coating is provided on at least one surface of mold-resistant paper containing from 1% to 10% by weight of polymerised siloxane and from 1% to 10% by weight of a water-insoluble fungicide. Fungicide is selected from a group consisting of 3-iodo-2-propynylbutyl carbamate, zinc pyrithione, zinc oxide, azoxystrobin, thiabendazol, octylisothiazoline, dichloro-octylisothiazoline, zinc dimethyldithiocarbamate, benzimidazole, 3-(3,4-dichloropheny)-1,1-dimethylurea and a combination thereof. Antimicrobial coating comprises fungicide particles in the range of 1-30 mcm.
EFFECT: improved mold-resistance.
