FIELD: monitoring and diagnostics means.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the monitoring and diagnostics means, and can be used, in particular, for the mobile units in a controlled area presence determining. Fiber optic sensor for the railway track monitoring contains a sensing element in the form of a fiber optic cable, placed inside the housing, which is provided with its fastening to the rail means. Housing is made in the form of a cup with symmetrically located holes in the side wall lower part, through which the fiber-optic cable is passed, held by an elastic filler, with which the housing cavity lower part is filled. On the elastic filler surface a cylindrical element is installed, which interacts with the sensor spring-loaded head part, in which a rod with limiter is screwed in into the threaded central hole. Rod is inserted into the cylindrical element central through hole, and between the limiter and the cylindrical element the spring with adjustable by the rod stiffness is installed.
EFFECT: as a result, the fiber-optic sensor operation reliability is increased due to the normalized exposure force onto it provision during its operation.
