HIGH-TEMPERATURE HERMETIC THERMAL CONVERTER Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G01K7/02 G01K13/02

Abstract RU 2666193 C1

FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermometry and can be used to measure temperature of high-temperature processes in gas dynamics under conditions of high pressures and gas-dynamic head. A hermetic thermal converter is proposed, which includes metal body made in form of a cylinder with external threaded fastener with slip on flange having a longitudinal axial channel, in which thermal couple is installed hermetically by means of welding, representing a metal tube with a ceramic insert, in which thermocouple wires are connected in the end of the tube to hot junction. Moreover, the thermal couple is closed with a protective sleeve, connected hermetically by welding with a metal body, and the tightness of connection to measurement object is carried out along slip of flange of metal body. To the metal body on the side opposite to hot junction of thermal couple, the first metal sleeve of cylindrical shape with an outer flange is hermetically connected on its outer surface, to the inner surface of which corrugated metal hose with a thermal couple located inside it is hermetically connected in the flange area. Moreover, the second end of corrugated metal hose, on its outer surface, is hermetically connected to the inner surface of the second metal sleeve of cylindrical shape with an outer flange, which on its outer side is hermetically connected to the flange of jacket of pressure-seal connector, filled with heat-resistant sealant and hermetically connected to liner of pressure-seal connector, to which pressure-seal connector is hermetically connected, to contacts of which wires of thermal couple are connected. And hermetic connection of both metal sleeves to corrugated metal hose, as well as to metal body and the flange of the jacket body of pressure-seal connector is carried out by means of laser welding.

EFFECT: improving reliability of thermal converter by increasing its degree of tightness, which eliminates the loss of sealing and breakthrough of high-temperature gases into the environment with the destruction and ignition of external structural elements.
