FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for the production of butadienes. Method includes: a) passing a reactor feed stream containing a hydrocarbon stream containing butene, a stream of water vapor and an oxygen-rich stream to a dehydrogenation reactor; b) oxidative dehydrogenation of the reactor feed stream in the dehydrogenation reactor in the presence of an oxidative dehydrogenation catalyst to form an effluent containing butadiene; c) cooling the effluent in the quench tower to produce a cooled effluent and a bottom water stream; d) passing the cooled effluent to an aldehyde scrubber to produce a purified effluent and a spent water stream containing aldehydes; and e) passing the first part of the bottoms water flow from the rapid cooling tower to the aldehyde scrubber.
EFFECT: proposed invention leads to a better integration of water circuits in the Oxo-D process and ensures a reduction in overall and operating costs.
