Foam pump is proposed for use in conjunction with a non-pressurized fluid container and a foam block. Foam pump contains a fluid pump assembly and an air pump assembly. Fluid pump assembly contains a fluid chamber that provides an internal volume for the fluid and a fluid piston with an activation delay. Fluid chamber communicates with a container for a fluid that is not under pressure, and with a foam block. Air pump assembly comprises an air chamber providing an internal air volume and communicating with the foaming unit. Fluid pump assembly and the air pump assembly have a working stroke and reverse stroke. During the working stroke, the internal volume for air decreases, and the internal volume for liquid at the initial stage of the working stroke remains unchanged, and at the subsequent stage begins to decrease.

EFFECT: technical result is improved technical characteristics of the foam pump.
