SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a steam treatment device comprising a steam generator, at least one opening for steam outlet, through which steam is released from the steam treatment device, the steam path between the steam generator and the at least one steam outlet. Steam path has a base along which solid sediment can pass. Steam treatment device also comprises a noise generator adapted to act on the steam generated by the steam generator, to generate noise to provide an indication of whether steam passes in a steam treatment device or not, and the generator is separated from the base of the steam path to such a distance that the noise generator does not create obstacles for solid sediment.

EFFECT: with this design, it is possible to generate noise to provide the user with an indication of the level of steam that is generated and released from the steam treatment device, therefore the user can evaluate the operation of the steam treatment device without visual indication; in addition, the accumulation of solid sediment formed in the steam generator of the steam treatment device is prevented.
