FIELD: sealing devices; engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sealing device for a compensating section of the cardan shaft, as well as a cardan shaft with such a sealing device. Sealing device contains first shaft element (21), which contains landing section (26) and sealing sleeve (11) with fastening section (28). On section (26) of the landing there is circumferential groove (32), into which for fixing sealing sleeve (11) is engaged with engagement. Attachment section (28) comprises at least one radially protruding inward fixing protrusion (36), which, in the fully fitted state of sealing sleeve (11), engages with locking engagement in circumferential groove (32). Landing section (26) comprises circumferential sealing surface (34), to which mounting sleeve (28) of sealing sleeve (11), in a fully fitted state, abuts with elastic tension.
EFFECT: enabling the design simplification.
