FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurosurgery, and can be used when it is necessary to stimulate the peripheral nerves and nerve plexuses. To do this, needle electrodes are introduced into muscle groups innervated by the nerve or nerve plexus for intraoperative electrophysiological monitoring. Electrode implantation is performed by making a small skin incision in the projection of a nerve or nerve plexus involved in the pathological process. Perform the subcutaneous preparation of the nerve using a blunt dissector introduced into the working port of the endoscope tube under endoscopic control. Nerve or nerve plexus is isolated and an electrode is implanted for intraoperative stimulation under the control of a physiological response to stimulation. Electrode is fixed by epineural suture.

EFFECT: method provides accurate positioning of the electrode during implantation in conditions of minimal invasiveness, due to the implementation and visualization of the installation site of the electrode and the installation of the electrode from a single access, which allows to reduce the risk of postoperative complications caused by trauma to the nerve, the cicatricial-adhesive process, electrode migration, at the same time, intraoperative physiological monitoring allows to obtain an optimal clinical result, and due to minimal invasiveness, a good cosmetic effect is achieved.
