FIELD: construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device and method for processing granular materials and can be used in the production of building materials, glass, foundry and chemical industries. Device for processing granular materials includes a loading device and a pipe with a working chamber. Working chamber is made in the form of a vibration load-carrying body supported by dampers and is a pipe made up of two halves interconnected by means of elastic elements. Vibrators are installed on the walls of each of the pipe halves, causing plane-parallel oscillations of the walls relative to each other. Elastic elements are made with rigidity and structural dimensions, providing the magnitude of their deformation in the period of relative convergence of the walls is not less than the magnitude of the working stroke of the walls of the material pipeline chamber.
EFFECT: technical result achieved when using a group of inventions is to reduce energy intensity and increase the efficiency of the processing of granular materials.
