FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to the technology of winding thin-walled shells made of polymer composite materials, and can be used in the manufacture of docking assemblies for solid-fuel rocket motors. Mandrel for the manufacture of winding thin-walled cylindrical shells made of polymer composite materials contains on the central shaft a double body with outer forming surfaces. On the sides of the double hull there are devices for its basing and fastening, as well as for removing the manufactured shell from it. In this case, one of the devices is rigidly fastened with the shaft of the mandrel, and the other is mounted so that it can move along the surface of the shaft to ensure the installation of housings with forming surfaces of various lengths, moreover, each device contains a telescopically mounted ring, pressed in the axial direction by screws and pins, and provided with an edge forming a wound thin-walled shell that forms an end. At the same time, in the collar of the ring there are threaded holes for installation, prior to removal from the double hull of the manufactured shells, mechanisms for fixing the shells relative to the ring, moreover, the mechanisms of fixing the shells are made in the form of clamps with conical screws installed in them, interacting with the surface of the technological allowance of the thin-walled shell made, preventing its sliding from the ring.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to ensure the manufacture by winding of thin-walled cylindrical shells from polymeric composite materials on a two-body case with external forming surfaces, providing the possibility of fixing thin-walled parts for the purpose of machining and subsequent installation on the surface of the power shell of the rocket engine casing on solid fuel with regulation of their position during the winding process.
