FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for production of composites by winding and can be used in fabrication of forming mandrels for winding of structural shells operated under pressure, for examples, solid-propellant rocket engine bodies. Mandrel consists of cylindrical and spherical sections made of sand-polymer mix. Every section comprises fiberglass round-section rods are introduced in every section and uniformly distributed over the volume of said sand-polymer mix to make reinforcements that occupy some 10-15 % of the section volume.

EFFECT: decreased interval of mandrel evaporation after casing fabrication and consumption of sand-polymer mix, higher quality of casings.
