SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a diffusion device with corrugated inserts and to a convection fan having such a device. Convection fan comprises a diffusion device for distributing an air jet, comprising at least one insert having corrugations separating the air stream injected through the diffusion device into two differently directed streams, these corrugations defining the thin and wavy output edge, and further comprises at least two reflectors located on both sides of the insert, which form between them an opening for the passage of the air jet around the insert and which direct the air jet in a predetermined direction.

EFFECT: this allows induction, that is, mixing of the propagated jet with ambient air, and without reducing the jet propagation distance.
