DELAYED SPEECH DEVELOPMENT TREATMENT IN CHILDREN USING THE TRANS-CRANIAL MAGNETIC STIMULATION Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61N2/04

Abstract RU 2675737 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to the neurology and pediatrics, and can be used for the delayed speech development treatment in children from the age of 3 years. Conducting the brain transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Acting on the right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex with the frequency of 0.3–0.7 Hz in the form of 15–25 packages of 10–15 pulses per package with an interval between the packages of 1 second and power of 25–30 % of the magnetic stimulator power. Acting on the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex with the frequency of 3–5 Hz in the form of 25–35 packages of 10–15 pulses per package with an interval between the packages of 5 seconds and power of 25–30 % of the magnetic stimulator power. Acting on the brain left hemisphere lower frontal gyrus projection point, the Broca's zone, with the frequency of 3–5 Hz in the form of 65–75 packages of 10–15 pulses per package with an interval between the packages of 5 seconds and power of 25–30 % of the magnetic stimulator power. Acting on the brain left hemisphere upper temporal gyrus projection point, the Wernicke zone, with the frequency of 3–5 Hz in the form of 25–35 packages of 10–15 pulses per package with an interval between the packages of 5 seconds and power of 25–30 % of the magnetic stimulator power.

EFFECT: method enables increase in the speech development and the lexicon expansion speed, increase in the cognitive interest and of motor skills improvement in children after treatment due to the use of TMS.
