FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to neurology, rehabilitation, neuropsychology, and can be used in treating cognitive disorders. Topically oriented diagnosis of higher mental functions of the patient is carried out. 1-4 most dysfunctional brain areas are detected for each patient. Identified areas are exposed to rhythmic transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS). Also, neuropsychological training is performed, including presentation of neuropsychological tasks and exercises in accordance with the identified dysfunctional areas of the brain.
EFFECT: method provides a personalized approach, higher efficiency in treating patients with cognitive deficiency.
