METHOD FOR INCREASING THE LEVEL OF CONSCIOUSNESS OF PATIENTS WITH LONG-TERM IMPAIRMENT OF CONSCIOUSNESS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61N2/08

Abstract RU 2783006 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to resuscitation, and can be used to increase the level of consciousness of patients with prolonged impairment of consciousness. Lead navigational magnetic stimulation (nTMS) and rhythmic transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS). Additionally, radiothermometry is performed in the right, left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and right angular gyrus and the area with the lowest temperature is determined. A course of rTMS is carried out in the area with the lowest temperature according to the results of radiothermometry daily, once a day, with an exposure frequency of 10 Hz and an intensity of 90% of the motor threshold for 10 days with a two-day break.

EFFECT: method provides personalized treatment by selecting a locus for stimulation, which has the lowest level of metabolism and functional activity.
