FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an enteric coated tablet for release of a drug in the lower gastrointestinal tract. Tablet has (A) a drug component-containing core weighing 1,000 mg or more; (B) a water-soluble polymer-containing coating film formed on the surface of the core; (C) an enteric coating film that dissolves at a pH of 7 or higher and which forms on the surface of the coating film, where the total content of the amount of polymer in the covering film (B) and the amount of polymer in the covering film (C) is from 10 to 18 mg/cm2, the amount of polymer in the coating film (B) is from 8 to 12 mg/cm2 and the amount of polymer in the enteric film (C) is from 3 to 6 mg/cm2, where the water-soluble polymer is a simple water-soluble cellulose ethers, polyethylene glycol, gelatin, salts of alginic acid, dextrin and water-soluble derivatives of polyvinyl alcohol and their mixture, where the drug is a therapeutic agent for a disease of the colon.
EFFECT: invention provides a pill containing a large amount of a medicinal ingredient and having sufficient impact resistance without forming a thick layer of intestinal-soluble coating.
