SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a mixing device. Technical result is achieved by a mixing device, which contains a cylinder, a shaft located and driven in rotation in the cylinder, and a mixing unit composed of a plurality of segments removably mounted on the shaft. Plurality of segments includes a first segment having an outer diameter D and a first length L1 associated with the outer diameter D, a second segment having an outer diameter D and a second length L2 that is shorter than the first length L1, a third segment having an outer diameter D and a third length L3, which is longer than the first length L1. First length L1 is equal to [outer diameter D × coefficient a], the second length L2 is equal to [first length L1/coefficient b], the third length L3 is equal to [first length L1 × coefficient b] and the third length L3 is equal to [first length L1 + second length L2]. Mixing unit has a sequence of segments consisting of a plurality of segments mounted on a shaft such that either the first sequence consisting of the first of the second segments or the second sequence consisting of the third segment is interchangeable with another sequence.

EFFECT: technical result is to reduce restrictions on the choice or replacement of segments.
