SUBSTANCE: pull-on article of clothing (1) according to the present invention is comprised of a front section (A) located at the front of the user during wearing and a rear section (B) located at the rear of the user during wearing; both sides of the front section (A) and both sides of the rear section (B) are interconnected forming a pair of lateral sealing joints (4), a waist hole (5) and a pair of leg holes (6). A lateral sealing joint (4) is comprised of connected areas (40) wherein the front section (A) and the rear section (B) are interconnected; the lateral sealing joint (4) is comprised of a area (26) bound by fusion wherein at least any one of the multiple component sheets for the front section (A) and of the multiple component sheets for the rear section (B) are bound by fusion. The length (W2) of the area (26) bound by fusion in the direction of width of the lateral sealing joint (4) is shorter than the length (W) of the lateral sealing joint (4) in the direction of width of the lateral sealing joint (4).
