SUBSTANCE: absorbent article 1 includes sheet 10 which have contact with skin with textured area P. The textured area P has a plurality of protrusions 41 with longer length in the first Y direction than in the second X direction, and a plurality of hollows 31 located between the protrusions 41, adjacent in the first or second direction. Hollow 31 has a low surface density area 32 which has lower surface density of fibrous material than the protrusions 41. The absorbent article 1 includes elastic element 19 extending along the first Y direction, elastic element is located on a non-skin side in relation to sheet 10 which have contact with skin. The textured zone P preferably has low surface density areas 32 arranged in rows extending in a second X direction and spaced apart in a first Y direction.
