FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engines with subchambers. Internal combustion engine includes: a main combustion chamber; an inlet duct connected to the main combustion chamber; an outlet duct connected to the main combustion chamber; a subcamera and spark plug in the subchamber. Subchamber is located between an inlet portion and an outlet portion and is connected to the main combustion chamber through a plurality of connecting ports. Connecting ports includes the first connecting port located on a side of the inlet portion, and the second connecting port located on a side of the outlet portion. First connecting port is closer to the piston than the second connecting port. First connecting port is tilted to be closer to the piston, since the first connecting port is positioned towards inward the outside of the subchamber.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the efficiency of blowing down in the subchamber of the internal combustion engine.
