Intralobar form of sequestration is diagnosed with a gradient of increasing the density of lung tissue in the focus of sequestration greater than the gradient of increasing the density of the tissue of the contralateral lung. They diagnose extrabaric form of sequestration with the value of the gradient of increasing the density of lung tissue in the focus of sequestration less than the gradient of increasing the density of the tissue of the contralateral lung.

EFFECT: method provides planning access and volume of resected tissue during surgery, which leads to a decrease in the time of the operation, the timing of postoperative nursing of operated newborns, as well as reducing the risk of intraoperative and postoperative complications by calculating the difference in the gradients of increasing the density of lung tissue in the focus of sequestration and the contralateral lung during different phases of contrast of a computer-tomographic study.
