FIELD: defectoscopy.
SUBSTANCE: using for the carbon plastics based composite materials non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics by acoustic and emission method. Essence of the invention is that first, on the carbon plastic sample strainers and acoustic emission transducers are installed in the stress concentrator area, and then performing the acoustic emission monitoring with initial samples stepwise static loading to the load, in which the strain gauges define the stress-strain state, corresponding to the matrix destruction under the sample tension and compression, then to the load, in which the strain gauges define the stress-strain state, corresponding to the matrix destruction with the sample stretching and compressing, then to the load, in which the strain gauges define the stress-strain state, corresponding to the fiber destruction. After each loading stage, performing analysis of the acoustic emission waveform from the location zone, calculating the structural coefficients, building their dependencies on the load, and judging on the defect type in the sample: decrease in the structural coefficient corresponds to the matrix destruction, and its increase corresponds to the fiber destruction.
EFFECT: enabling possibility to determine the defect type in the carbon plastic samples.
