FIELD: materials science.

SUBSTANCE: use: to determine structure defects of carbon fiber reinforced plastic. Summary of invention consists in the fact that first, the control zone of the sample from carbon fiber reinforced plastic is broken down into square cells, in each of which there is recorded acoustic emission signals from the simulator, their location, then for each cell, in which there is a signal location, the structural coefficients PI and MARSE critical value, followed by performing stepped static loading of the sample with increasing load and when there is stable location of signals during loading in sample cells, the MARSE parameter is calculated and if its critical value is exceeded, the structural coefficient PN for this cell, zone of stable location is covered by a location grid, the size of the cell is determined from the speed of propagation of the acoustic signal in the sample material, the defect is considered to be dangerous provided that if in the signal cell the MARSE parameter exceeds its critical value, then by comparing the structural coefficients obtained during operation of the simulator PI and during loading PN, determining type of defect in sample: value PN ≤ PI corresponds to destruction of matrix, delamination of composite sample, and PR ≥ PI – rupture of fibers of sample material.

EFFECT: technical result is improved reliability of monitoring structures from carbon fiber reinforced plastics in real time.
