FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for cooling a roller, a rolling stand, a measuring device for recording the distribution of pressure in a material being rolled, measuring device for recording the distribution of flatness in the rolled material and method for cooling the roller. Said device for cooling the roller comprises a cooling bowl with a cross section in the form of a circular arc section for overlapping the surface area of roller (200). In the area of the edge of the cooling bowl, there is a bearing with pivot joint (120) with a pivoting axis perpendicular to the arcuate cross section to rotate the cooling bowl around the pivot axis. For constant spontaneous optimal adjustment of the size of the gap for cooling during the rolling process or during the operation of the measuring roller, the bearing is made with a degree of freedom radially relative to the arcuate cross-section of the cooling bowl. Said cooling bowl is freely mounted in the bearing in the radial direction with the possibility of swinging motion.
EFFECT: proposed is a device for cooling the roller.
