FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises, at least, one nozzle 112 to spray coolant 400 onto surface of metal tape 200. Coolant turbulent flow results from using plate 500 arranged parallel to the surface of metal tape 200 at cold rolling stand outlet 300 and arranging nozzle so that coolant is injected in space between metal plate surface and opposite plate in injection direction R counter to direction L of metal tape travel at acute angle α, at 10°≤ α ≤20°.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cooling after pressure straining at cold rolling stand.
