SUBSTANCE: medical robotic surgical system for applying a surgical medical procedure to a living being comprises a medical device for performing a surgical medical procedure, an attachment system for attaching the medical device to a wall and / or ceiling of a room, a fixation element for rigid attachment of the medical device to a base device, a passive interface element between the attachment system and the medical device. Medical device is adapted to move relative to the base device for applying a surgical medical procedure. Medical device comprises a medical robotic device and / or a catheter control device. Attachment system is a suspension system for suspending a medical device on a wall and / or ceiling of a room. Interface element is configured to provide an interface when the medical device moves relative to the attachment system. Base device is a support means for supporting a living being, and wherein the fixation element is adapted to be rigidly attached to the support means.
