SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a compound having the formula (I) and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts. In formula (I), A is where R1 is selected from the group consisting of W represents (CH2)m; m is 1; Y is (CH2)q; q is 1; n is 1 or 2; R3 is a COR5 or CO2R6; each of R4a, R4b and R4c is hydrogen; R5 represents C1-6alkyl; and R6 represents C1-6alkyl. Invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition, to a method for treating or preventing a disease, the etiology of which is associated with stress mediated by free radicals, or oxidative stress, or treating or preventing a condition associated with the disease.
EFFECT: technical result: obtained new compounds of formula (I) are able to act as neuroprotective agents.
