FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to neonatology, and can be used for the correction of metabolic acidosis in mature newborn infants born in the state of asphyxia. To this end, in the first hour after birth, a newborn baby is administered intravenous administration of cytoflavin in a dose of 0.6 ml per 1 kg of body weight of the child.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the efficiency of correction of metabolic acidosis in mature newborn infants born in the state of asphyxia, reduce the severity and frequency of ischemic and hemorrhagic lesions of the central nervous system, is simple to implement and is easily controlled.
