SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neonatology, pediatric neurology, and can be used to predict intraventricular hemorrhage in newborns. To do this, conduct a biochemical study of blood gas. In umbilical cord blood, the concentration of hydrogen sulfide is determined and, if its value is 35 mcmol/l or more, the development of intraventricular hemorrhage is predicted.
EFFECT: invention provides a simplification and improvement of the accuracy of prediction of intraventricular hemorrhage, and also allows timely determination of the tactics of therapeutic measures.
