SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing a herpes virus, including culturing a cell infected with said herpes virus, in a cell culture that contains aurintricarboxylic acid and fetal calf serum. Invention also relates to a method for culturing a cell and to the use of aurintricarboxylic acid.
EFFECT: inventions allow the use of an iNOS inhibitor, aurintricarboxylic acid, to increase the yield of the herpes virus in the cell culture and can be used in the medical industry.
