SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determining the length of a filled section of a fully mechanized coal-mining filling mixing combine harvester. Method includes, firstly, designing the total length of a fully mechanized coal-mining filling mixing combine harvester in accordance with the requirement of production capacity of the mine; secondly, preliminary determination of the range of lengths of the section being filled in of a fully mechanized coal-mining filling mixing combine harvester in accordance with the principle, according to which daily mining of waste rock with a coal combine for a protective layer of rock is equal to the mass of filling materials to fill the output of the section to be filled with a fully mechanized coal-mining filling mixing combine harvester; and finally, determination of the length of the loading section of a coal-mining filling mixing combine harvester in accordance with the requirements for the development of cracks of overburden at the place of operation of a fully mechanized coal-mining filling mixing combine harvester and features of the movement of the rock formation.

EFFECT: technical result is to provide a simple safe reliable and high-performance method.
