FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to receive the rotation signals of a four-frequency laser gyro. Optical mixer of the rays propagating in opposite directions in the cavity of a four-frequency laser gyroscope is designed for simultaneous detection of interference patterns independently obtained for the emission of left and right circular polarizations. Mixer includes an element reducing the opposing rays, two guiding deaf mirrors and one or two anisotropic elements consisting of two prisms from the left and one prism from the right crystals of optically active material, providing dilution on the angle and coordinate of the rays of different circular polarizations. Mixer can contain one anisotropic element, while a triangular prism can be used as a converging element, and half-wave phase plates are applied to the reflecting surfaces of deaf mirrors. Mixer can contain two anisotropic elements, and a translucent dividing mirror can be used as a converging element.
EFFECT: increased accuracy due to compensating for the effects of magnetic fields.
