FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-precision laser gyroscopy, specifically to detection of signals of a four-frequency laser gyroscope of the Zeeman type. Optical mixer serves to generate a signal of a four-frequency laser gyroscope of the Zeeman type and has a function of compensating for the magnetic component of the measurement error with allowance for the difference in the magnetic sensitivity of waves of different polarizations. Result is achieved when using in addition to two main photodetectors, one for each pair of waves of equal circular polarization, as well as two additional photodetectors for two pairs of waves with identical direction of bypass of resonator.
EFFECT: high accuracy of a four-frequency laser gyroscope of the Zeeman type, reduced error of measurements.
