FIELD: agriculture; engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hitch for a traction vehicle. Tractor hitch and an agricultural harvester driven with it contains means designed to recognize whether the harvester is in a harvesting or field end situation, and a control device configured to set a parameter of a functional hitch device, which ensures the hitch operation in the harvesting or field end configuration depending on the recognized situation. Recognition device is connected to the control device, which is configured to determine the state of the hitch, in particular the angle of rotation of the traction vehicle. Control device is configured to determine based on the state, whether the harvester is in the harvesting or field end situation.
EFFECT: it is possible to free the driver from the control and adjustment tasks that need to be carried out during the hitch in the transition from the harvesting mode to the driving mode at the field end.
