FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: combination includes a towing vehicle in the form of a tractor and an agricultural harvesting machine in the form of a baling press or a loading trolley, towed by it. The harvesting machine comprises at least one working unit for transporting and/or treating harvested mass and is in a drive connection to the towing vehicle for transmitting drive power from the towing vehicle to drive at least one working unit. The combination of a towing vehicle and a harvesting machine towed by it comprises a control device configured to work depending on received operating parameters of the harvesting machine and the towing vehicle to set speed for the combination. The speed set by the control device ensures achieving by the combination at least one harvesting objective set by the operator.
EFFECT: invention frees the operator from charge when choosing the appropriate driving speed.
