FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiosurgery. When performing orthotopic heart transplantation (OHS) using the biatrial technique, an additional fixation is performed along the perimeter of the suture between the right atrium of the donor and the recipient of metal clips. After that, the atrial pacing electrode is implanted under x-ray control anterior to the clip line.
EFFECT: method allows to most accurately position the electrodes so that electrical excitation is carried out both on the left atrium and on the ventricles, significantly reduce the duration of the procedure, the time of fluoroscopy and, accordingly, the dose of radiation exposure, that is, to increase its safety, both for the patient and for the surgeon.
