FIELD: beekeeping.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to beekeeping. Near-swarm automatic nest-holder includes a source of infrared radiation in the form of an infrared diode, a receiver of infrared radiation in the form of a phototransistor. Nest-holder also includes nozzles and a photo relay designed to detect the moment when the nest exits, using obstacles in the form of oncoming water drops as a gate valve, created by nozzles and scattered over the entire area of the entrance with partial coverage of the corresponding wall.
EFFECT: invention eliminates the steam locking of bees in the swarm with closed entrance in the absence of the beekeeper in the apiary.
