Mobility limiting device (handcuffs) consists of interconnected bracelets. Each bracelet is formed by the fastened together arc-shaped brackets, and hinged to them movable bracket with teeth, which engages into the ratchet connection with the rotatable spring-loaded latch teeth. Article fixed and movable brackets inner surfaces form having the shape of ellipse covering contour. Bracelets fixtures are made at an angle relative to the bracelet central longitudinal axis, formed by the mobile and fixed brackets connection point and the ellipse center of symmetry, formed by the brackets mobile and fixed inner surfaces, at an angle of at least 15° and offset from this axis by an amount of not less than 0.2 of the bracelet width.
