FIELD: human life necessities satisfaction.
SUBSTANCE: handcuffs are described, consisting of two separate handcuffs connected by a hinge or a chain, each handcuff comprising two sidewalls between which a body is fixedly fixed, containing: an arcuate grip connected by a hinge between two sidewallsat one end and with an opportunity to interact with a latch blocking the position of the arcuate grip in the body at the other end, and a locking device with a key to lock and unlock the arcuate grip in the body. The proposed invention further comprises at least one chemical current source, electric drive, position sensors of the locking mechanism and/or arcuate grip on each handcuff and an electronic control circuit provided with a wireless communication interface. In addition, the electrical control circuit contains an accelerometer. The proposed design differs from the analogs by the battery compartment, fixed on each handcuff, located so that the removable covers of the battery compartment fit tightly to the body (wrist) of the person wearing the handcuffs.
EFFECT: maximum protection against unauthorized opening minimized the risk of human factors in use, a fundamentally new system of protection, security and detention of prisoners in penitentiary institutions.
