FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to experimental surgery for modeling postoperative adhesiogenesis of peritoneum. Median laparotomy and mechanical damage to the peritoneum is conducted to an animal under anesthesia. For the formation of adhesions, mesh implant of prolene material with a size of 1.5×2 cm is fixed on the parietal peritoneum.
EFFECT: method can be used to simulate postoperative adhesiogenesis of peritoneum and to study the effectiveness of barrier means of prevention of this complication.
