FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to experimental medicine, namely to surgery. Antiadgezin 0.5 mg is intraoperatively administered to rats on injured surfaces. Injuries are performed on the parietal peritoneum from both sides, including the intestinal loops and the uterine horn until signs of hyperaemia appear.
EFFECT: method enables reducing the thickness of postoperative peritoneal adhesions in rats, reducing the portion of collagen contained in peritoneal adhesions and causing disorder of its arrangement, as well as reducing the thickness of the fibres, intensity of the local inflammatory process, enhancing tissue regeneration in the damaged area without activation of proliferative processes and without the formation of collagen adhesions, which in turn makes it possible to develop a method for preventing postoperative peritoneal adhesions in gynaecological and pelvic surgery.
