FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method for controlling an autonomous power plant (APP) includes the connection of ballast resistances to equal electric power at ballast resistances and the surplus electrical power of connected consumers. Ballast resistances are disconnected, and consumers are connected. Allocated sections are formed of the ballast resistances, electrical parameters of each section are equal to an consumer allocated thereto, and one additional section is formed, the electric power of the additional section is continuously regulated, generating a control signal according to the magnitude of deviation of the current value of either the current frequency or the amplitude of the output voltage of the APP from its nominal value. Consumed electrical power of the additional section is increased in proportion for a connected consumer. Additional electrical power of the connected consumer is switched from the additional section to its allocated section, a pause is maintained for the completion of transients of the APP and the electrical power is switched to the connected consumer from its allocated section.
EFFECT: constancy of the output parameters of the generated electricity is provided when working with a variable number of connected consumers.
