FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to the automatic control of the autonomous power plant (APP), to the electric generator of which the consumers are connected. At that electric power of APP is usually equal to or slightly exceeds total power of its consumers. Method of controlling an autonomous power supply system, which contains a controlled power supply, a ballast load and a consumer, consists in connection, disconnection and regulation of a ballast load containing sections of load resistors. At that, power supply power control is performed at connected ballast load to value Pc=Po+P, where Pc is consumer power, Po is the initial power of the power supply, P is the controlled power of the power supply. Controlled power of the power supply is increased or decreased by adjusting the ballast load by switching sections of the load resistors and using the step value of the change in the power of the ballast load, equal to Pps/2n, and switching various combinations of parallel connected sections of load resistors from row where Pbl is the power of the ballast load, Pps is the power of the power supply, Pi is power of i-th section of load resistors in ballast load, n is number of sections of load resistors in ballast load, and the power supply is switched to the consumer when the condition Pbn= Pc=Po+P is achieved.
EFFECT: taking into account the initial power of the power supply source of the APP and ensuring high-speed control.
