SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an interface circuit for transmitting a digital signal, in particular to a high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI). This technical result is achieved in that the first transmission unit transmits the first signal, which includes the clock signal component, to an external device through the transmission path in the form of a differential signal. Second transmission unit superimposes the second signal, which includes the clock signal component, on the transmission path as an in-phase signal for transmission to an external device. Status notification unit communicates with an external device through a pair of differential transmission paths included in the transmission path, and notifies the external device of the connection status of its own device using the DC offset voltage of at least one of the pair of differential transmission paths.
EFFECT: technical result is to provide the ability to transmit a signal at high speed in the direction opposite to the direction of transmission of the main channel with high bandwidth.
